Eyring: "I gave him to you, because I knew you could and would love him, no matter what he did"
Nice sentiment, but what about the kids who get disowned or kicked out of the house, by church members, for not serving a mission, being gay, getting pregnant out of wedlock, going to prison, addictions, etc.? What about the 90% of marriages that fail when they have a child with a disability? Were any of those kids placed in the right home?
The dude can't give a talk without crying as if emotion=spirit.
This one bothered me.

Yeah, I think Eyring is kind of a one trick pony when it comes to public speaking.
DeleteThis one goes with Uchtdorf's Meme picture.
ReplyDelete"I caught a fish THIS big, a sucker just like ALL OF YOU!"
Haha, nice!
DeleteIf I were any good at photoshop, I would have blended Uchtdorf's picture with this guy:

Possible captions included "I'm not saying the church is perfect, but the church is perfect."
Great! If There was a way to post pictures here on your blog, as a comment, I would put some more up. Pretty funny stuff.
ReplyDeleteI didn't realize pictures didn't work in the comments until I tried posting my last comment.
DeleteI'd love to see some more. I'll have to see if I can mess with the blog settings.
